Project Examples

A group of junior student-consultants will analyze your current situation in the market and recommend solutions to a problem or opportunity posed by you or they will provide a strategic plan to improve your marketing initiatives. Past projects have included:

  • Brand Management of company
  • New product line and its market acquisition plan
  • Target segmentation determination and branding of a company 


After 4 months of work on your strategic marketing roadmap, the group of student-consultants will submit:

  1. A detailed report of their analysis and recommendations
  2. A 20-minute presentation that summarizes their findings 
  3. Any peripheral materials that the firm wanted (multimedia/social media content, crowdfunding websites, mock-ups, logo designs, etc)

Build strong relationships at local schools and with their students to ensure that you hire for cultural fit, while improving your community.


  • Be available for a quick phone call with the instructor to make sure everyone is on the same page.
  • Be available for a 1-hour interview (virtual, phone, or in person) in order to make sure the students fully understand your organization, industry and needs
  • Be responsive to periodic emails to answer any questions or concerns that the student(s) may have as they progress
  • Attend the final presentations (virtually or in person)
  • Provide a Riipen skill rating on student performance upon completion of the project.
  • Create a free organizational profile on Riipen (if you do not already have one).
  • Complete a 30-second exit survey.
  • Pay a $250.00 participation fee to Riipen if approved by the instructor and successfully matched to students.
