Why do it

Project Examples

One or two MBA students at the Smith School of Business at Queen's will spend six months on a consulting challenge of your choosing. They will conduct research, analyse the issue, and provide recommendations to address it. Students will be mentored during the project by a project course advisor. Sample projects include:

  • Developing a five-year growth strategy
  • Create and implement a new systematic framework
  • Investigate and recommend a product or service expansion opportunity
  • Develop financial feasibility models
  • Create marketing plans or strategies

Each individual student will dedicate a minimum of 100 hours to the project. Students will provide your organization with a management consulting report of 10+ pages at the conclusion of the project, detailing their research, analyses and actionable recommendations.
