Project Examples

A group of students acting as outside consultants for your organization work closely with you to identify an issue or challenge you are facing, with a marketing or market research focus. Students will research and analyze the issue, and develop strategies and recommendations that you could implement to address it.

Project examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting industry analysis to identify new target markets, messaging, and communication strategies
  • Using customer analysis to develop a new social media campaign
  • Planning of a promotional event for the college-aged market, based on trend analysis
  • Doing competitive analysis of the industry in the development of a comprehensive marketing plan for a startup
  • Conducting focus groups and interviews to develop communication strategies for non-profits
Outcomes

Outcomes

Students deliver a presentation of their results at the end of the quarter. They also provide a ten page report detailing their findings, analyses and recommendations.

Students' tactical recommendations will include advertising and social media strategies, messaging, pricing, and distribution strategies.
