Project Examples

A small group of third-year students will work on designing a complex document for your company, such as a book, magazine, annual report or training manual.

Project examples include, but are not limited to: 

  • Designing a catalogue for a flower shop, including photos and descriptions 
  • Designing a template for an annual report for a large corporation 
  • Creating the layout for a business textbook

Commitments

  • Be available for a quick phone call with the instructor to make sure everyone is on the same page.
  • Be available for a 1-hour interview (virtual, phone, or in person) in order to make sure the students fully understand your organization, industry and needs
  • Provide students with any digital assets they will need to create the document (eg. photos, logos)
  • Be responsive to periodic emails to answer any questions or concerns that the student(s) may have as they progress
  • Provide a Riipen skill rating on student performance upon completion of the project.
  • Create a free organizational profile on Riipen (if you do not already have one).
  • Complete a 30-second exit survey.
  • Pay a $250.00 participation fee to Riipen if approved by the instructor and successfully matched to students.
