Why do it

Project Examples

Students will identify key global trade agreements that include Canada and explore opportunities for Canadian exports under those agreements.

Project examples could include, but are not limited to:

  • Identifying export markets for a product that is currently sold only domestically
  • Out of a range of products, identifying which is best for export and to which country or countries
  • Evaluating whether the companies you current target for export of a particular product are optimal under trade conditions
  • (For a government body or policy institute) Reviewing trade agreements to identify export markets that should be promoted to industry

Students will provide a five page report summarizing their findings and actionable recommendations.
